Hello, my name is Jason McCarty. I am a psychotherapist by day who loves aesthetics, music, art, and philosophy. My interests in webdesign have grown since learning a lot to create my own site for my private practice.
What I have come to love about websites is the overall feel they can provide in showing a person’s or organization’s personality. I am more drawn to simple and clean designs, but some sites call for more than that.
Part of web design is knowing how to communicate - information and personality. Knowing what the target audience is and knowing who you are become necessary ingredients as well. As we work together I get to know you and/or your organization and can therefore present you to the world in an informative and aesthetically pleasing way.
I mainly use wordpress to design my sites, utilizing the flexibility and structure of the Thesis Theme. But I also use other avenues. Many great website building structures are coming out and we can discuss together what type of design and layout works best for you.
